Obituary for Diane Upshaw
Diane Upshaw, 63, of New Castle, passed away at her residence. Born on March 20, 1953 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late David and Charlotte Upshaw.
Diane had worked as a security guard for Rockwell International. She enjoyed attending church at Jubilee Ministries, and she was a former member of St. John Baptist Church. Diane loved to read, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchild.
Diane is survived by her son, Andre Upshaw and wife Vakia of New Castle; sister, Gertrude Williams and husband Philip of Lexington, KY; nephews, Mark and Duece Williams; and grandchild, Valencia Upshaw. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Eric M. Upshaw.
Visitation will be held Friday from 10:30am to 11:30am at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St. Services will be conducted Friday at 11:30am at the funeral home, officiated by Apostle Mark Kauffman of Jubilee Ministries.
Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery.
