Geraldine Oliva, 54, of McGrath Ave, passed away the evening of December 26, 2016. Born on February 28, 1962 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Carmella Antuono Oliva of New Castle and Alfredo Oliva of Italy. Geraldine’s whole world was being a mom to her son, Justin. She was a loving and caring person who truly enjoyed helping others.

In addition to her parents, Geraldine is survived by her son, Justin Oliva and fiancee Caitlyn Hazenstab of Pittsburgh, PA; brother, Anthony Oliva of New Castle; and sisters, Anna Moore of Beaver, PA and Almerinda Feola of New Castle. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Carmen and Joseph Oliva.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St. Blessing services will be conducted Thursday at 12:00pm at the funeral home, officiated by Father Frank Almade, pastor of St. Vitus Church.

Interment will take place in Parkside Cemetery.
