Brandon T.  Ortmann
Brandon T. Ortmann, 24, of Moon Township, PA, passed away the morning of September 19, 2015 at Allegheny General Hospital. He was born on January 31, 1991 in Meadville, PA. He is survived by his mother, Cynthia Klingensmith Taylor of Moon Township, PA, and he was preceded in death by his father, John D. Ortmann Jr.

Brandon worked as a server and cook for Uncle Sam's Sandwich Bar in Robinson Township. A lover of music, Brandon played the guitar and keyboard. He also enjoyed playing video games and being outdoors. He especially enjoyed geocaching with his girlfriend, Shayla.

In addition to his mother, Brandon is survived by his sister, Jamila Olowinski of Erie, PA; girlfriend, Shayla Talbott of Pittsburgh, PA; maternal grandparents, William E. Sr. and Nadyne Klingensmith of New Castle; paternal grandmother, Mary Esther Ortmann of Linesville, PA; two nieces; one nephew; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John D. Ortmann Sr., and uncle, Bill Klingensmith Jr.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. A procession will leave the funeral home Thursday at 10:15am to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at St. Vitus Church, officiated by Father David Bonnar of St. Bernard Parish of Mount Lebanon.

Interment will take place in St. Vitus Cemetery.
