Freda S.  Zollinger
Freda S. Zollinger, 94, of Jameson Care Center passed away the afternoon of September 28, 2014 at Jameson Memorial Hospital. Born on August 31, 1920 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late John Sr. and Anna Meyndt Greaf. On December 29, 1945, she married her beloved husband, Louis Walter Zollinger, and the two spent 52 wonderful years together until he preceded her in death on February 21, 1998.

Freda attended the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading and watching TV.

Freda is survived by her brother, Robert Greaf and wife Beverly of New Castle; niece whom she raised, Patricia Maga of New Castle; and several other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Andrew Mendt and John Greaf, Jr.; sisters, Anna Nemeth and Minnie Prediger; and godchild, Laura Kenn.

Visitation will take place Tuesday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St. Services will be held Wednesday at 12:00pm at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Larry Llewellyn of Hoover Heights CMA Church.

Entombment will take place at Castleview Memorial Gardens.
