Oswald R. (Ozzie) Kosior, 75, of 1108 Eleventh St. West Pittsburg, passed away the afternoon of September 17,2011 in the VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler PA.

Mr. Kosior was born in Ellwood City on February 29, 1936 to the late Raymond and Josephine Kosior. He was married to the former Rosemarie Ann Passalinqua on June 22, 1957 and she preceded him in death on November 28, 2005.

Oswald retired from Babcock and Wilcox in Beaver Falls where he worked as a machine operator. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish.

He is survived by a son Ron Kosior and wife Robin of West Pittsburg; one sister, Patricia Haydo of Ellwood City and two grandchildren, Sara Nicole Kosior and Hannah Rose Kosior.

In addition to his parents and wife, Oswald was preceded in death by four brothers, Louis, Joseph, Anthony and John Kosior and a step sister, Marlene.

There will be no calling hours. A private blessing service will be held at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 941 S. Mill Street. Father Frank Almade of St. Vincent de Paul Parish will officiate.
