Charles J. (Turk) Nero, 61, of 7 W. Home St. New Castle, died the morning of Saturday, August 21, 2010 at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh.

Born on May 23, 1949 in New Castle, Charles was the son of the late Joseph and Mary DeLillo Nero.

He was a member of St. Vitus Church.

He was a avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. Charles enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandson, Nicholas.

Survivors include two children, Michelle Nero and husband Rick; Charles Nero and wife Melinda; his grandson, Nicholas; a brother, Joseph Nero and two nephews, Joseph and John Nero; all of New Castle.
