On August 7, 2010, our beloved Mother, Sara (Sally) Kauffman Putman went Home to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. At 94 years of age, she was blessed with loving family and friends.

Born on March 4, 1916 to the late Jess and Mary (Miller) Kauffman. Sara was the sister of the late Lee (Lottie) Kauffman, the late Frances (William) McMillen, the late William (Ann) Kauffman, the late Edna (Ernie) McNicholas, the late Susan Kauffman, and Rev. Kenneth K. Kauffman (Rosemary). She was married to the late Dr. George W. Putmam and is survived by her four daughter Shirley (late Kent Bergman, late Bert Sweeney) of Florida, Georgia (Ned Gian) of Buffalo, Susan (Robert Randall) of California, and Kennie (Robert Dubil) of Buffalo, seven grandchildren Russell K.Bergman,Sheri (Robert Vossbrink), Mary (James Kent), Tricia (David Browne), Ned Gian, Frank (Erin) Daly, and Robyn (Nick) Eide, eight and one half great-grandchildren, and devoted nieces and nephews.

In addition to being a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, Nana, and friend, she worked tirelessly for many years as a nurse, Sunday School teacher, church organist/pianist and volunteer in countless activities.

Calling hours are 4p.m. to 7p.m. on Tuesday, August 10th at the Ed and Don Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 3000 Wilmington Road. A Funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 11th at 11.00 a.m.

Entombment will be in Castleview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Wilmington Road.
