Obituary for Scott A. Powell
Scott A. Powell, 55, of New Wilmington, passed away on January 4, 2019 at UPMC Mercy.
Born on November 20, 1963 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Loy Powell and his mother, Peggy Pearson, who survives.
Scott had worked as a construction painter. He served his country as a member of the U.S.Navy.
In addition to his Mother, Scott is survived by his son Zachery A. Galaude.
In addition to his father, Scott was preceded in death by a daughter, Taylor Christine, two brothers, Jeff Mackey and Pete Rebmann, and one sister, Sandy Jenkins.
The family will receive friends on Monday, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 South Mill St.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Antwan Gardner will officiate.
Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
