Daniel R. Kerr, 65, of New Castle, passed away the morning of June 8, 2016 at his residence. Born on July 15, 1950 in New Castle, he was a son of the late Russell and Thelma Woods Kerr.

Daniel had worked as a train engineer.

Daniel is survived by his children, Travis Kerr and Tait Kerr; brothers, Glenn Kerr and Gary Kerr and wife Jane; sister, Sharon Brunswick; five step-brothers; two step-sisters; and grandchildren, Zoe Kerr and Ava Kerr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-brother.
