Anne M.  Nestasie
Anne M. Nestasie, 90, of Edinburg, PA, passed away the afternoon of March 6, 2016 at the Windsor House at Champion. Born on July 4, 1925 in Hillsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Tressa Mecuri Tutino. On October 12, 1946, she married her beloved husband, James Nestasie, and the two spent over 68 wonderful years together until he preceded her in death on October 13, 2014.

Anne had worked for Rosie’s Bakery and as the Judge of Elections for the Edinburg Area. She enjoyed flower gardening. An active member of Christ the King Parish, Anne was a member of Christian Mothers of the church and was involved with the Easter Bread fundraiser.

Anne is survived by her children, Tressa DeMatteis and husband Richard of Hubbard, OH, Kathleen Oris and her best friend Nicholas Arena of Champion, OH, and Dominick Nestasie and wife Norma of Delmont, PA; sisters, Margaret Argiro of Edinburg, PA and Josephine Commisso of Pittsburgh, PA; sisters-in-law, Ann Cassamento of Warren, OH and Inez Tutino of New Castle; six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Rose Gallo, Mary Ieraci, and Julia Gallo; and brothers, Rocco Tutino and Frank Tutino.

Visitation will be held Friday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. A procession will leave the funeral home Saturday at 9:45am to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Lawrence Church at 10:30am, officiated by Father James Downs.

Interment will take place in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
