Debra Lynn  Klingensmith
Debra Lynn Klingensmith, 60, of New Castle, passed away the morning of November 24, 2015 at her residence. Born on June 13, 1955 in Spokane, WA, she was the daughter of Shirley Myers Frazier and the late Thomas Harry Frazier. On June 9, 1973, she married her beloved husband, Larry Dean Klingensmith, and the two were together for more than 38 wonderful years until he preceded her in death on May 2, 2012.

Debra retired as a nurse practitioner at a family practice in Slippery Rock. Prior to that, she worked for 30 years at Butler Hospital. Debra loved being outdoors and camping, and she also enjoyed music, sewing, and cooking. Debra will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who dedicated her time to taking care of her family and others.

Debra is survived by her children, Tamara M. Kaufman and husband James of Butler, PA and Jennifer S. Elliott and husband Aaron of New Castle; brothers, Robert Frazier of Plain Grove, PA and Thomas Frazier of New Castle; sister, Patricia Klingensmith and husband Harold of Cerro Gordo, NC; grandchildren, Derek James Kaufman, Zachary Dean Kaufman, and Alexandra Mae Elliott; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her father and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, David Frazier, and a niece.

Visitation will be held Friday from 11:00am at 1:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. Services will be conducted Friday at 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Interment will take place in Castleview Memorial Garden.
