Janice R.  Koch
Janice R. Koch, 91, of New Castle passed away the afternoon of January 26, 2015 at her residence. Born on October 21, 1923 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Alta Estep Stark. Also preceding her in death was her beloved husband, John Koch, who passed away in 2000.

Janice retired as a Nurse’s Aide for St. Francis Hospital. She enjoyed travelling, especially throughout Europe. Janice was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan and loved cats, dogs, and horses.

Janice is survived by her nieces, Janice Fusco and husband Francis Jr. of New Castle and Ann Reese of Arizona; nephews, Robert Weaver and wife Robin of New Castle, Fred Weaver and wife Dorie of New Castle, and Tom Landolph of California; great-nieces and great-nephews; and cat, Sheba. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Janet Weaver (her twin), Ruth Landolph, and Pauline Reese, and great-nephew, Francis F. Fusco.

There are no calling hours planned. A memorial service will be held Monday at 1:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St, officiated by Pastor Ernie DePasquale.
