Obituary for Rodney K. Ketchel

Rodney K. Ketchel, 61, of E. Leasure Ave passed away the evening of November 26, 2014 at his residence. Born on September 15, 1953 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Harry H. and Margot Müller Ketchel. Surviving him at home is his beloved wife of 39 years, the former Margaret Woods, whom he married on May 10, 1975.

Rodney retired from his job as a truck driver for MCS Trucking and previously worked as a bus driver for DON Services. He attended Church of Genesis. Rodney loved drag racing, fishing, and playing his guitar.

In addition to his wife, Rodney is survived by his children, Danielle Wanner and husband David of Mercer, PA, Jason Ketchel, and Justin Ketchel and wife Roseanna, all of New Castle; brother, Gordon Ketchel of Bessemer, PA; sister, Michelle McConnell of Florida; and twelve grandchildren.

There are no calling hours scheduled. A memorial service will be held Monday at 3:00pm at Church of Genesis, officiated by Pastor Ron Eade.
