Obituary for Stephen H. Krasinski Sr.

Stephen H.  Krasinski Sr.
Stephen H. Krasinski, Sr. 63, of Union Township, passed away the evening of November 7, 2014 at his residence.

Born in New Castle on July 25, 1951, Stephen was the son of the late Henry (Duck) and Christine M. (Teena) DeThomas Krasinski. Surviving at home is his loving wife, the former Regina Yakopovich whom he married on March 27, 1976.

He was a member of Mary, Mother of Hope Parish.

Stephen retired from Universal Rundle in 2013 where he had worked as a finisher for thirty years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam Era. Stephen was an avid guitar player and loved music. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was known for his great sense of humor and will be missed by all who knew him. Stephen loved his family and especially cherished the times he spent with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Stephen is survived by his two children; Audra Didiano and her fiancé William Boomhower of North Lima, OH, Stephen H. Krasinski, Jr. and his fiancée Renee Shannon of New Castle, his brother, Christopher Krasinski of New Castle, and his four grandchildren, Vincent Krasinski, Angelina Didiano, Olivia Krasinski and Emili Boomhower.

Honoring his wishes, Stephen will be cremated and his family will gather on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10AM at St. Mary’s Church prior to a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM officiated by Rev. Father Michael Ackerman.

Entombment will take place in Parkside Mausoleum.
