Louise M.  Nasal
Louise M. Nasal, 96, formerly of E. Division St. passed away the morning of February 8, 2014 at Golden Hill Nursing Home.

Born in New Castle on October 15, 1917, Louise was the daughter of the late Anthony and Constance Faraone DeBiase. Preceding her in death on March 9, 2005 is her husband, Joseph G. Nasal whom she married on September 15, 1941.

Louise was a devoted member of St. Vitus Church,volunteered for the St. Vincent de Paul Society and was a member of the Blue Army of Fátima. She was also a long time volunteer for hospice. Louise was a former employee of West Penn Plastics and Pittsburgh Plastics where she worked in Quality Control.

She is survived by her five children, Dorothy L. Pratt of Ohio; Marie T. Carney of New Castle; Christine L. Piacquadio and husband Michael of South Carolina; Joseph M. Nasal and wife Sandi of New Castle; Carl M. Nasal and wife Karen of Virginia; sisters, Antoinette Layton and Julia Lavaglio, both of New Castle; twelve grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Louise is preceded in death by her sisters, Theresa Chill, Agnes Petrangeli, Mary Audia, Charlotte LaRosa, her brother, Louis DeBiase, her son-in-law, Martin Carney and her grandson-in-law, Michael Porada.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5PM to 8PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S. Mill St.

A procession will leave the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:30AM for St. Vitus Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM officiated by Rev. Father Nicholas Vaskov. Entombment will take place at Parkside Mausoleum.
