Obituary for Norman Fuchs

Norman J. Fuchs, Jr., 68, of 1818 Pulaski Road passed away August 16, 2012 at his residence.

He was born in Pittsburgh on October 25, 1943 to the late Norman J. Fuchs and Anna Meihl Fuchs Rostak. He is survived by his wife, the former Linda Fedrizzi whom he married on September 28, 1968.

Mr. Fuchs was a retired truck driver. He was a United States Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam Era and was a member of the Moose Club. He enjoyed politics and working on and restoring cars. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who's greatest joy was the time he spent with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Norman Fuchs III and wife Megan of New Castle; one daughter, Kara Berkley and husband Dale, Jr. of New Castle; one sister, Sr. Ann Catherine of Pittsburgh and four grandchildren, Aidan, Tyler, Jace and Jaxen.

In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Mears and his stepfather, Paul Rostak.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3000 Wilmington Road.

A blessing service will be conducted on Monday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Father Nicholas Vaskov of St. Vitus Church will officiate. Interment will be in the veterans section of Parkside Cemetery.

Military rites will be conducted by the New Castle Area Honor Guard on Monday morning at the funeral home.
