Victor P. Kennedy, 65, passed away the morning of June 23, 2012 at the Haven Nursing Home in New Castle.

Born in New Castle on March 14, 1947, Victor was the son of the late Clair and Hazel Mann Kennedy. He enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his brother, James Kennedy of New Castle; sisters, Zoe Sallmen and husband Daniel of New Wilmington, Pa; Robin Kennedy of New Castle; nieces and nephews, Timothy Kennedy, Michelle Kennedy, Tara Kennedy, Christopher Kennedy, Braquel Olinchy, Parris Sallmen and his sister-in-law, Carol Kennedy of New Castle.

In addition to his parents, Victor is preceded in death by his brother, Larry Kennedy.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 11AM to 1PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington RD.

Services will be held on Tuesday at 1PM at the funeral home. Rev. Robert Feil of Mercer Free Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will take place at Harmony Baptist Cemetery.
