Beverly A. King, 78, of E. Sheridan Avenue passed away the evening of May 25, 2012 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

She was born February 6, 1934 in New Castle and was the daughter of the late Howard W. and Helen G. Spiker Houston.

In earlier years she was the owner of Montgomery Ward Catalog Center and worked as a bookkeeper for Veltre Tire. Beverly retired from C.J. Long Paving Company where she worked as an office manager. She enjoyed gardening and caring for her pets.

She is survived by one daughter, Beth Ann Witowich and husband William of New Brighton; two sons, Robert King and wife Regene of New Castle and John King of New Castle; one sister, Darlene Strawhecker of Harlansburg; two grandchildren, Robert King and Isabell King and her beloved dogs, Lilly and Daisy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Robert King.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3000 Wilmington Road.

A service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Reverend Dennis Bupp will officiate. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery.
