Daniel E. Kuczynski, 63, of 3609 S. Maple Drive passed away the morning of May 26, 2012 in Jameson Hospital.

He was born January 4, 1949 in New Castle and was the son of the late Stanley and Maryann Bober Kuczynski. He is survived by his wife, the former Sonia Kosior whom he married January 16, 1982.

Daniel was a manager in the shipping department at Ellwood Quality Steels where he worked for 29 years. He was a United States Army veteran, serving in Vietnam. He enjoyed golfing and was a member of Mary Mother of Hope Parish. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who's family was his whole life.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Ryan Kuczynski and wife Katie of Mt. Lebanon; a daughter, Shawna Stelter and husband Brandon of Mt. Jackson; two brothers, Peter Kuczynski of Phoenix, AZ and John Kuczynski of Wampum; three sisters, Connie Allen of Ellwood City, Kathleen Pannutti of Mt. Jackson and Rita Carungi of Roscoe, IL; three grandchildren; eighteen nieces and nephews and twenty five great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Kuczynski.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 941 S. Mill Street.

A mass of christian burial will be celebrated by Father Victor Molka on Wednesday at 9:00 AM at St. Marys Church of Mary Mother of Hope Parish. A procession will leave the funeral home at 8:30 AM for the church.

Entombment will be in Parkside Cemetery Mausoleum. Military rites will be provided by the New Castle Area Honor Guard at the cemetery.
