Condolence: Dear Great-Grandma,
I love you very much and wish we had been able to visit more, but very happy we got to spend time with you at Thanksgiving. I'm happy that you don't need to worry about anything anymore, you're not hurting and you'll be happy with everything in Heaven. I'll miss you very much and I love you!
Love always,
Your great-grandson,
Logan Cataldo

Condolence: My Dearest Gram,
We knew this day was coming, but all hoped it wouldn't be so soon. I'm comforted by the fact that so many of the family were with you when you passed, even though I couldn't be there. I'm so glad that you and Pap are finally together again. If we had to lose you, then I'm glad that he gets you back since he has waited so long.

Growing up you taught me so many things about life: hold close to your family, trust in God, if you have a dream - work hard and be willing to fight for it, love deeply, laugh often, tears can heal (so can Gram's cookies), if you act up - be ready to run from Gram's broom and you better be fast, be smart about the choices you make (especially when playing cards against you), and trust in yourself because no one knows you better.

You gave great, down to earth advice about so many things. You taught me to make home-made pasta from scratch, amazing Christmas cookies and so many other yummy things. You didn't fuss too much when Michelle and I snuck extra Christmas cookies - most of the time I think you acted like you didn't know, you just smiled.

You always listened, gave advice, sometimes loudly - but always with love. We always, always knew that all of us - the entire family - came first and always would.

You were our Matriarch and you will be missed every single day and until we see you again!
All my love,
Your grand-daughter,
Sherry (Newkirk) Cataldo
